We are looking for highly motivated, energetic, and innovative engineer to join the CIMTEK software development team and to contribute to our success in developing world class Automatic Test Equipment. This is a contract position. The main responsibility is software development, which will be used to functionally test new, state of the art products. Software developed in C/C++/C# and/or LabVIEW languages will run on embedded controllers or on Windows XP/Windows 7 platforms. Additional responsibilities include generation of product test specifications and measurement techniques development. 

Electrical Engineering degree and excellent communications skills including report writing is required. 

Several years of experience in application development using C/C++/C# and/or LabVIEW and experience in writing low-level software (i.e. device drivers) or embedded software development would be a strong asset. 

Good understanding of electronic circuit theory and knowledge of test and measurement equipment (voltmeter, scope, generator, counter, and data acquisition) is required. Experience in automated test and measurement engineering is a benefit.

Knowledge in one of the following areas: test and measurement, digital signal processing, image processing, data acquisition and signal analysis would be an asset. 

International travel to customer sites will be required.

This is a contract position that could translate to a full time position in the future.

We are looking for a highly motivated, energetic, and innovative person to contribute to CIMTEK’s success in developing world class Automated Test Systems.  The responsibilities of this position include the design, integration, documentation, commissioning, and support of Automated Test Systems. 

This position requires an individual with an Electrical Engineer Degree or an Electrical/Electronic Technologist Diploma, excellent communications skills. 2-3+ years of work experience would be an asset. 

An excellent understanding of electronic circuit theory and a good knowledge of automated test and measurement techniques and equipment is required. (Multi-meter, oscilloscope, logic analyzer, generator, counter, data acquisition, and power supply) A working knowledge of AutoCAD would also be an asset. 

Experience in the test engineering field, and a proven record of report writing is desirable.

Experience with the following software would also be an asset; C++, Labview, National Instruments CVI, and Test Stand.

International travel to customer sites will be required.

This is a contract position with the possibility of becoming a full time position.
